My Kroger deals are based on the ad for Ohio (Great Lakes/Columbus Region). The ad week starts on Monday (check your ad for sale dates). Kroger doubling policies vary from store to store, so the math will reflect up to and including $0.50, and also up to and including $0.99 in { }. If an item is priced 10/$10 (for example), you do not have to purchase 2 items to receive the $1.00 each price unless otherwise noted (like when part of a mega sale). Check your local store for policy. Pricing varies by region, so check your ad for slight discrepancies.

Just a heads up. I spotted some $1off peelies for the Cottonelle Bathroom Tissue at Walmart. I took 3 of them to Kroger to get the much better deal. I think they were prices at about $8 at Walmart. Be on the look out, I hope you can find some too!!
