Then the first of the month comes and I print a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.krogerkrazy.com\/category\/coupon-center\/printable-coupons\/\" target=\"_blank\">ton of new coupons<\/a>, cut them\u00a0all out &#8211;\u00a0only to have a HUGE pile of scrap paper left over. The bigger pieces obviously can be used for my daughter&#8217;s artwork\u00a0or &#8220;notes to self&#8221;. But do you also have a pile of scraps similar to the one pictured here? What do you do with them? I am totally guilty of just throwing them in the trash once in awhile, and sometimes that&#8217;s what you need to do to maintain a clutter-free home. But, I also like to think of ways to repurpose them as well. Here are a few things we&#8217;ve implemented ourselves, plus some other ideas I had:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Make a paper chain<\/strong><br \/>\nYou remember doing this in school, right? Sometimes Kambell colors the strips first, then glues them. Or, we&#8217;ll\u00a0write a word on each strip (like something she needs to memorize such as a\u00a0bible text or a days of the week. Then hang them across the mantle as a reminder.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make picture frames<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is the other idea my daughter had for these. She glues or tapes the strips to make a frame for one of her\u00a0masterpieces. (you think I come up with this stuff?&#8230;no, it takes\u00a0a 4 year old mind, people!)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Paper Mache<\/strong>!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use them for the &#8220;draw from a hat&#8221; game<\/strong><br \/>\nThis can be used for games such as &#8220;name that animal&#8221; (our favorite!)\u00a0or it can even be used for &#8220;today&#8217;s chore&#8221; &#8211; let your child pull out the chore they are responsible for that day.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use them for animal bedding<\/strong><br \/>\nWe don&#8217;t have a pet that needs this type of bedding, but some of our\u00a0family members do&#8230;wonder if they would get some use out of these?\u00a0 You could also donate them to your local animal shelter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add them to the compost pile<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Use them for padding if you are moving or packing something fragile to ship<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t have your own &#8220;little one&#8221;, consider donating them to your nearest Kindergarten class.
