Here in Canton Illinois ours are at 7.19… I stop I every day to double check! I take a tons of pics now at stores so I have a visual note on prices so I know what to look for for coupons and special deals.
The Kroger I went to in NW Columbus had size L only on closeout for 4.79. (And another 1.00 off coupon inside the package 🙂 )

I found them for $2.40 (Louisville, KY)
The Kroger in Nicholasville, Ky had them for $2.40
The Kroger in Marion, Ohio had them for $5.59 on closeout.
My kroger in lambertville MI only the size smalls are on closeout and they are 2.79
