What gets me through the week:
Weight Watchers String Cheese – 1 point each!
Fresh, chopped veges and fruits in snack bags = at my fingertips
Roasted Mushrooms: Pound of sliced mushrooms, salt & pepper, spray with cooking spray. Roast at 450 for 20 minutes. 0 points and oh so delicious!
Fresh Vegetable Soup – 0 points per serving. These ingredients are all zero points, so I don’t count the one point that the WW recipe builder counts. I make a big batch of this on Sunday so I can have it throughout the week.
Kale Chips – 1 point for a whole bunch
Sugar Free Jello Snack with 1/8 C of Fat Free Whipped Topping – 0 points per serving!
Weight Watchers Frozen Treats – these are on sale at Kroger this week for $3.99, plus there are a few coupons out there – so I’m going to stock up.
MorningStar Spicy Black Bean Burgers on an Arnold Sandwich Thin – a frequent lunch of mine!
Weight Watchers or Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges – 1 point each. I use these to spread on my sandwich bread at lunch time to replace mayo. So creamy and yummy!
Giada’s Rise and Shine Juice – I make this every few days and it’s delicious!!
Weekly Weigh-in:
I lost 1 pound this week, although I’m pretty sure if I had that digital scale it would’ve said 1 1/2 pounds. 😉 I’m not happy with my “performance” this week, as I have been cheating a bit here and there. I am DETERMINED to do better this week though, so that’s all that matters. Not looking back.
Weight Watchers Meeting:
For your comment below, please answer the following questions:
How much weight did you lose?
What gets you through the week?
Any other pointers/tips that will help out the group?
Remember that some of these recipes reflect a higher points value than what the actual ingredients add up to. This is because the new PointsPlus recipe builder totals all of the food values, even though a food may be “free” according to the rules. Because of this, I always suggest measuring and entering your ingredients separately into your daily tracker so you have a correct points value. I know it’s confusing and time consuming, but I feel like I get a more accurate points value this way.

I got off to a slow start. I haven’t used the online tool in a while and the changes threw me. I especially miss the way they used to have a full week’s plan already done for you and you could choose what you wanted to put on your tracker. They’ve also changed the way the points are calculated so all my old WW cookbooks now have the incorrect values. I received the 2012 cookbook and that has helped but it has alot of basic recipes like chicken stock or weird ones like duck. So it was a struggle to begin. I’ve done well this week with food and have started back at the gym so I’ll weigh this weekend and report on the next check in.

I lost 3lbs. this week. I love the WW desserts I allow myself one if I work out after the kids go to bed:)

I lost 2 pounds this week! Popcorn has been my go to food when I have cravings. Right now my sister and I are doing it together we are “competing” to see who will lose 40 pounds first, it is really great motivation!

I am participating in an actual meeting which will meet at my workplace. Our first weigh in will be Tuesday. I had a nightmare about it. I have been making some GREAT recipes though. Taco soup, lettuce wraps, and popcorn are staples at my house! At Kroger, all of the ingredients for my taco soup were half off thus week so I really stocked up!

Walden Farms Salad Dressings are 0 points! Zero fat, calories, carbs, sugars etc. They also make chocolate dipping sauce (zero points ) and other yummy sauces and dips. My store doesn’t carry everything but you can buy them online at http://www.waldenfarms.com -I don’t work for them or anything but they taste pretty darn good for zero point food!

I lost 2.2 lbs this week. I don’t see me loosing this much next week, we went out with friends last night to a Brazillian steakhouse and I ate more than my points due to wanting to make sure I got my money’s worth.
Again, munching on Fruit and drinking lots of water is getting me through the week.
