Lots of people are resorting to coupon cutting, even extreme coupon cutting, in
order to save money. I think it’s crazy. I think that coupon cutting takes an
extreme amount of time to find, cut, and organize coupons, and then do the actual
physical shopping, from store to store to store, using up expensive gas miles and
cherished time and energy, only to spend more on what you don’t need now but for
the “future need”…just because you have a coupon! This only makes sense if you
have the intention of giving the extra stuff away, as a gesture of
charity….which I think is cool.
However, I personally think that my time and energy and gas money are best
preserved for more important things. So I prefer to shop online with my cash back
toolbar, when I have the time to do it. If I shop at Walmart, as an example, I
can take advantage of their store sales, plus get my cash back by shopping thru
the toolbar, PLUS they’ll deliver my order to my home! With over 24,000 stores in
the shopping network, I can shop at my favorite stores and get my cash back paid
to me monthly in my PayPal. Now I’m not only saving money by shopping online, but
I’m saving my PRECIOUS energy, time and gas money too. I think this is the wave
of the future and I’m happy to be onboard with it.
