yes tracie, i have had this problem. i went to one walmart & they were sold out of razors so i assumed everyone was using the 6.00/2 coupon. went to a different walmart found the razors, but when my cashier scanned the coupons the register would not accept it. the asst manager was trying to get approval from the manager to override the computer but, the manager said no, we cannot override internet coupons so i did not get my razors 🙁
I tried using the coupon yesterday at the Walmart in our town, and they would not accept it. Informed me that the company that issued the coupon was not paying the stores back, and that they were not going to honor the coupon. They also tried to tell me it wasn’t a legit coupon at first and i argued over that but it was worth getting too bent out of shape over. Has anyone else had this problem with internet coupons? Just curious.
I agree with Cody…plus, my scenario is not suggesting that they give you cash back – they are giving you overage towards other items in your transaction. 🙂
Walmarts policy allows for overage and the coupon policy is the law and overrides the policy of the coupon. This is what i been told… Whats sad is i ran out of ink last night and my Walmart is sold out of my ink and i have refilled it 3 times and no one will refill it again…guess i have to get it shipped to me ASAP lol
The coupon specifically says “No cash back if coupon value exceeds retail price” in lower righthand corner.
Still a great deal though. I saw on another website that a Walmart manager suggested buying 3 packages of razors.
