Metamucil Two-Week Challenge + Pay ONLY $15.99 for a 114 Dose Container at Kroger!!

When I first started the Metamucil two-week challenge I wanted to learn about what EXACTLY I was putting in my body and what it would DO! So I got on the Metamucil website and read up on the products that they offer. With the Metamucil two-week challenge I was given Metamucil Fiber! and it was Orange flavor which usually I don’t like but I was open to the idea. After doing some reading I learned that if I used the product correctly, I’d experience some of the following:

*It helps you feel less hungry between meals
*It helps your body maintain healthy blood sugar levels as part of your diet
*The psyllium fiber in Metamucil gels to help lower cholesterol
*It helps promote digestive health 

I was a little leery of that Psyllium word (which metamucil.com linked so I would know what it was).Psyllium husk, a natural dietary fiber originating from plantago ovata and it has been the source of both soluble and insoluble fiber in Metamucil for 80 years!! That’s a looooooong time people! I am going to copy this directly from the Metamucil site because I don’t want you to miss a thing. The psyllium fiber in Metamucil forms a viscous gel that traps some bile acids (made from cholesterol) and gently removes them from your body. This gel also traps some carbohydrates and sugars, allowing them to be more slowly absorbed by the body. This gelling property of psyllium also helps you feel less hungry between meals and promotes digestive health. HOW. COOL. IS. THAT?! I was seriously impressed by what this product could do for me!! Excited is more like it!! So, on March 5th, I started my two-week challenge and I’m not going to lie, it was pretty great! I can’t tell you how much I hate drinking things that could be ‘good for me’ it’s just something in my head! I can’t do it! Not only did I drink this every morning, I thoroughly enjoyed it. So, not to get too personal with you, I experience a lot of stomach issues on a daily basis. I thought, hey! It’s worth a shot to see if it lines me out. And that’s exactly what my Metamucil Fiber did. Before the challenge, I felt very nauseated, very bloated and heavy in my stomach and intestines. I wasn’t very regular, and I’ll be honest, when I was in the bathroom, it took AWHILE! It’s ok! We need to be honest about these things! By doing so, maybe I’ll be able to help someone else struggling with these digestive issues. After about 5 days, I can tell you I felt the difference. Now, I don’t have diabetes or sugar issues, but I do have occasional mornings where I have some shakes (in my hands). I noticed after day 6, that I wasn’t having the shakes as much! I read about this before I started my challenge, so I knew that this was not only helping regulate me, but helping maintain my blood sugar!! Seriously? And all I had to do was mix up a small packet in water and drink every morning. I know it’s not the cure to all of our issues, but it truly helped me and CONTINUES to help me! I still am drinking on a daily basis! And with all the amazing coupons available, you can too!!!
