In a Mega Event situation, you MUST purchase 5 participating items (in this case) to get the additional $5 mega savings ($1 per item). So, for example you have a cart full of groceries, but you count only 14 items. A filler item is what you grab to get your item count up to a multiple of 5 so that you can get the mega discount on all of your items. Preferably something very inexpensive that doesn’t require a coupon, because if you had a coupon – it’s probably already in your cart!
(all prices valid through 3/15 and prices below assume you purchase in multiples of 5 – mix & match)
Don’t forget you can view the Mega Event full inclusions list HERE.

My Kroger has a blinkie machine by the pine sol for 2.50/3! .16 each!!
You can print a coupon for $1 off an evol single meal on coupons.com, I checked at the register if it would work on the sale single burritos and it did! So you can get the single burritos for free!
The mission tortilla chips have a coupon that I got from somewhere.
Just a thought, but would the mini oreo snack sacks count for the $1/2 oreos rebate from Checkout 51? The fine print says 4.5 oz or larger, and these are 8 oz. Not sure I want to try it and get burned, but it would be a fun .49 splurge if it worked.
YES! That’s on my list to talk about today 🙂 Thank you Laura!
