Kroger stores and affiliates ring Buy One Get One Free sales up differently depending on where you are located. Some will ring them up half price/half price and some will ring them up full price and zero (a true buy one get one free). To find out how your store handles BOGOs, simply look at the shelf tag and it will tell you. Why does this matter? Two reasons: You CANNOT use a coupon on an item that rings up zero, but you can for an item that is half off. ALSO, if your store ring up half price, then you only have to buy one to get that deal.

Ibotta also denied me a quantity of 2 and instead gave me a $4 rebate just for one. I submitted a request for a re-check. They have usually honored my claims but idk if they will on the BOGO. Fingers crossed!
I didn’t use a digital coupon on mine but I only got $4. They didn’t give me the rebate for the free one. When it came back it was a limit of 1.
I would love to know if this deal worked for anyone else as I was denied the Ibotta rebates. Ibotta stated that a promotion and coupon had been used prior to submitting to Ibotta (at time of purchase) which invalidated the rebate(s). No problem at Kroger with the B1G1 and digital coupon. But that makes each bottle $4.49 not $.49.
To add to Renee – Sometimes you have to be really careful about combining offers. The Ibotta rebate says it cannot be combined with coupons. If you want the full rebate, get the ‘Cash Back’ from Kroger rather than the coupon.
I didn’t have a digital coupon, just the bogo, and my Ibotta is still pending since last Saturday!! I scanned the detergent in my Ibotta app to make sure I was getting qualifying products. So frustrating!
