That isn’t true for my Kroger in Ohio. As long as the item is above coupon before mega and is a manufacturer coupon not a store coupon (ie best customer coupon). I just did this tonight. I use self check out. Maybe scan the toothpaste first then press pay now to trigger the coupon then press go back to continue scanning the rest of your items.
I was told at my North Ga. Kroger that if item was 1.99 in mega sale a 2.00 Kroger coupon wouldn’t work and it didn’t .That was several months ago with Crest.
