So this scenario you won’t get the 1.79 price w/o buying 10 right? Not sure how this will work with buying just 5 items…
Stacy, yes…you have to buy 10 participating mega sale items to get the $1.79 price. So what I did is just grab 5 smartwaters which are just $0.50 each.
Just a quick question, if I have 10 of the $1 off Fresh Takes, could I get 10 and pay $7.90 and get back $8 ONO (2x$4 ONO for buying 5)?!?
Amy, as long as your store doesn’t limit “like” coupons – you should be good to go. My store only limits the amount of coupons that can be doubled, so wouldn’t apply to this scenario. Should work like a charm.

This deal gets even better. At both Kroger and Walmart I found $1 off chicken coupons when you bought the new Kraft breadcrumb mix. I have a family that loves chicken and I bought the cheese and breadcrumb mix and it was a hit!!!!
Melinda, yes the deal should work at any Kroger affiliate stores…but your pricing may be a tad different as that varies by region.
Do you know if these are the same for Smith’s grocery stores?
