Before you go, be sure to take the Dollar General Corporate Coupon Policy with you. #1, the policy states that they accept internet printables, and #2, while they do not accept free product coupons…that does not mean your coupon cannot MAKE for a free item. If needed, do your best to educate your cashier on this in the most tactful way. 😉

I refuse to go to the Dollar Store in my town and use coupons! They don’t want to take any! Then they want you to put each coupon with the item you are using it for instead of just handing them the coupons when the items have been rang up. They won’t take coupons for BOGO free items either. And they don’t want to take any internet coupons even though they have a HUGE banner outside that says they do. I just wait and use them at the Dollar Store at the larger town (45 min drive) when I do my grocery shopping. Family Dollar in my town is getting to be just as bad. So far Fred’s is the best place but I am sure it will be a matter of time before they get hard headed too!
