In a Mega Sale situation, you MUST purchase 5 participating items (in this case) to get the additional mega savings of $1 per item. So, for example you have a cart full of groceries, but you count only 4 items. A filler item is what you grab to get your item count up to a multiple of 5 so that you can get the mega discount on all of your items. Preferably something very inexpensive that doesn’t require a coupon, because if you had a coupon – it’s probably already in your cart!

I am having trouble getting Catalina to issue me my coupons for the June 2015 promotion for the Old Orchard and U Kotex deals. Can anyone advise as to whether or not the Old Orchard deal was to receive printable coupons for your next purchase of Old Orchard or was it for $ off your next purchase of anything. The same for the U Kotex. I am pretty sure the U Kotex was buy 2 and get $2 off your next purchase of anything. This has been a very frustrating and time consuming experience with Catalina. I appreciate any help you all can provide.

Yesterday I bought 1 package of the gold fish puffs and received a $1/2 catalina and bought 2 Old Orchard juices and received a $1/2 catalina…. making them each 50 cents when I use the coupon on my next order.
The water is not .9 cents and not part of the 5 for 5 mega sale at Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas regions!
