As I let you know yesterday, PARTICIPATING Kroger stores are offering TRIPLE COUPONS starting Today (Thursday) and running through Sunday, May 1st! This is for select Ohio and West Virginia Stores only.
Here’s how it works:
-
Coupons valued at $0.50 and under are tripled. So, for example if you have a $0.50 coupon, it will be tripled to $1.50!! SA-weet!!! ($0.55 Qs are the devil)
-
I just made a phone call to a nearby store that normally doubles up to and including $1.00 (Perrysburg) and while they will continue that doubling policy, the triple coupons only applies to $0.50 and under.
-
Limit 3 like coupons will be tripled per transaction.
Before heading out, make sure you call your store to confirm that they are participating in this event.
I got there bright & early this morning and put together the following matchups. Keep in mind that prices may vary by store.

Thank you for posting the match ups so quickly (even though I’m waiting until Saturday night to shop) it saves me from wandering the aisles with my binder looking for the deal.
Per the coupons on your card vs paper coupons the last time I was at kroger (I think beginning of the month, or end of March) the cashier stated it was a new policy you can’t use both. But since it was new & not officially posted yet he was able to override & take my paper coupons. Now I’m not even going to bother loading ecoupons on my card
Erin
Perrysburg never lets me do that… in fact they always look at the lines to see which ones come off the card before scanning my manu. ones. I never get to use both.
Amy
I have been going to the Kroger in Perrysburg forever and they allow me to use my loaded coupons from my card and printed/manuf coupons, together so for those of you in this area it might be worth trying to see if you can use both coupons on one product!
beth
@ heather: i had the same problem, the digital coupons override the printables and they don’t double! i quit doing the digitals at all unless i KNOW for a fact that i won’t have a paper coupon for those items.
the only way to get rid of them before they expire is to remove them online. grrrrrrrr
Alicia
I went to the Kroger in Oregon, OH today, on Navarre. Right by the door when I came in, there was a sign advertising the triple coupons. When I checked out and used only 0.50 coupons, they only doubled, not tripled. The cashier said he thought maybe the promotion was over. I mentioned the sign said it ran through Sunday and he said he didn’t know why it wasn’t tripling the coupons then.

I called all the krogers in my area ad was told they NEVER do triple coupons. Im in WV, glad you all got the deals wish at least one of our stores would participate.
Grace G.
I went to the Kroger in Moundsville today and most of my coupons tripled, past the price of the item!! (But not all)
I got a couple other things that weren’t on your list:
Mahatma Saffron yellow rice (+.65) use .50/1 q in 1/23 RP
4 pack Light n Fit Dannon yogurt (.80)
use .40/1 q in 4/10 SS
KC Masterpiece Bbq sauce (.49)
use .50/1 in 3/13 SS
also, the Johnson & Johnson baby powder was 1.49 so with the .50/1 q it was free!!
Thanks so much for posting this!! Looking forward to making another trip again this weekend 🙂

Just called the Kroger in the Dayton area and they are not doing it. Oh well, maybe next time for me. I’m glad you guys got the deals because saving money is always fun for me.

heather

heather
yeah… soo i went today and i already had some coupons on my card and they would not triple them…. why not?? i could of saved atleast another $5-6 bucks i started at 29.00 after my card and print coupons it came to 15.30 if they would of tripled them all i would of only paid like 5-6 bucks …… im not happy cuz it does not say anywhere on there web site about it … im lookin and on hold with krogers…..

Brawny single roll paper towels $1.59
They have a 50 cent peelie on them which makes them 9 cents.
Open pit barbecue sauce is on sale 10 for 10. Many of those bottles had 35 cent hang tags on them making them free.

You are very lucky, I live in Las Vegas area, and my smiths almost don’t want to take coupons, after long waitings, calling the manager, and show them the print copy of their coupon policy, I finally can get my stuff, BUT I have to deal with this in every trip.
They do not double or triple or let you use e-coupons and manufactures coupons in the same purchase, so have to do several purchases to get my groceries and I get faces and looks from the cashiers all the time.
Will be fun to go with a camera, like extreme couponing to see if they behave the same way on TV.
Anyway, I’m new in couponing, just saving $15 to $20 per trip, for a household of two, and your website has helped me a LOT, Thanks!

I linked your Kroger matchups to my facebook page if that’s ok- my friends are wanting one- we live in Southern Ohio and use the same ad. Thanks for the work!
VictoriaD
Thank you so much for doing this triple matcher so quickly!! Seriously helps me out and I appreciate the info.

At my store they still had some Easter candy that was 75% off so I got a bag of Reese’s eggs for $0.75. Also Puffs were only $0.09 after q from the P&G mailer. Dial hand soap was 10/$10 so ibused a $0.35 q to get it FREE! 🙂
