I checked the price on the Smart Balance spreadable butter on Sunday and had planned to take advantage of the .50 price, but apparently everyone else had that in mind as well! So I grabbed a raincheck. Was back in the store this afternoon, and the price is now shown as $1.59. So glad that I thought to pick up that raincheck! I am in the Roanoke, Virginia area and our stores no longer double coupons, so this was a one of those money-maker deals that I definitely didn’t want to miss out on!
I need to check to see of that is the price at my Kroger’s in Richmond, VA. They don’t double coupons here and more and even without a coupon, .50 for butter is a good price!
I thought they were marked a 1.99 in my northern my Kroger. I guess I will have to look again. The Secret outlook is free with the 3.00 coupon plus you should get a 50 cent overage.
