Jennifer and her husband (who is also addicted to couponing) did 12 transactions, rolling their Register Rewards. Their total out of pocket was ONLY $31 for $180 worth of stuff!! They also wanted to mention they did NOT clear the shelves, which is always appreciated. 🙂

Whether we like it or not Cold & Flu season is well upon us and chances are we’re all going to get sick at some point this winter. Still I thought I’d put a quick list together of tips to help us stay healthy to the best of our abilities!  I would love to hear your tips for staying healthy as well! Here are my top 5 tips for staying healthy this cold/flu season (I know, they’re no-brainers but work with me here):

• Wash your hands!! A lot. With soap. Front and back. This is includes using anti-bacterial wipes when you’re not near a sink.
• Stay away from sick people. Sick people: stay home!
• Get lots of sleep.
• Eat Well. Drink plenty of Water.
• Take your Vitamins.

Speaking of taking your vitamins. As I typing this I’m chewing my delicious Genesis Today vitamins. I am horrible at swallowing pills…the very thought of it makes me start to gag. Why is my total less than $20? Well, because the Colgate Toothpaste actually rang up $0.77 and it ALSO generated a $1.00 +UpR! That was an added bonus, but it messed up my scenario. I had already handed over my coupons and the cashier scanned my $4 off $20. I tried to tell her I needed to add another item, but she said the coupon scanned just fine. Who I am to argue? 🙂
