Why is my total less than $20? Well, because the Colgate Toothpaste actually rang up $0.77 and it ALSO generated a $1.00 +UpR! That was an added bonus, but it messed up my scenario. I had already handed over my coupons and the cashier scanned my $4 off $20. I tried to tell her I needed to add another item, but she said the coupon scanned just fine. Who I am to argue? 🙂
