@marie I use corned beef hash for our “breakfast dinner” nights…I make breakfast potatoes or hashbrowns..scrambled eggs and cbh..just put it in a small sauce pan and heat at a little above low ..not too high or it will burn lol..stir often..kind of looks like nasty dog food or something and youll need a fork or utensil to get it out of the can lol but it is good!

I love this site! Now we even have recipe sharing. My husband likes to just fry it up with some potatoes and fried egg. I have yet to try corned beef hash. It’s on my list with tuna noodle casserole….. Maybe someday I’ll get the courage.

I saw a feller eating this one day straight from the can, though he was wearing a sleeveless cut-off undershirt and jean shorts…and I’m pretty sure he winked at me with his one good eye. Go with Marie, Naomi or Annette’s version.

I pan fry it in the morning with fried eggs & toast. Yummy!

Preheat to 375-400. Cut the hash into slices and bake or broil on parchment paper in the oven until crisp. Serve with eggs over easy.

oops. “roJust” was suppose to be (at least the roast beef kind is). Just…

I like the roast beef hash version, cause it’s mostly meat & potatoes. I can find it at Super Target or Kroger usually, but haven’t had to stock up for awhile.
It’s precooked actually (at least the roJust heat it in the skillet, until crispy if you want, and serve on toasted bun. You can also heat in microwave.
I keep cans of this in my emergency supplies too. It taste like camping food.

I make something called Corned Beef Hash Pie. Open two cans, mix 2 large eggs, 1/2 cup of ketchup, and 1/4 cup of self rising flour together in a bowl (I use my hands) and pat the mixture down into a buttered casserole dish or glass pie pan…Bake it at 350 until brown and crisp- it will rise slightly. Once it is nice and browned…take it out of the oven. In a pot boil or steam vegetable medley (broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots)- or any desired vegetables frozen or fresh vegetables cook to desired doneness. Drain well and then pour the hot veggies over the baked corned beef hash pie- spread evenly in dish and top with finely shredded cheddar or colby cheese, place it back in the oven just until the cheese is melted. Serve and Enjoy!

Anyone have any ideas on how this is best served? Any recipes? I have never bought this before so I’m clueless!
