It’s about to be spaghetti night in this house. I made sure before I left Kroger today to grab two jars of Ragu Pasta Sauce since it was as low as $0.67 each after mega savings and coupon!

In my area the Ragu is $1.49 after mega pricing, so I didn’t think Dottie made mistake. I think she was genuinely trying to help, IMHO.
I have tried several times to figure out how to make this work I am unable to do it any input would be greatly appreciated
Get 2 jars of Ragu and put them in your cart. Then put 8 more Mega Sale items in your cart. Since you then have 10 Mega Sale items, you would be charged the $1.49 per jar price that you see on the shelf tag. Go to the checkout. Hand the cashier your $1.25 coupon. Your total for the sauce would be $0.665. Or rounded up to the nearest penny, it will be $0.67 cents each for the 2 jars of pasta sauce. Hope that helps.
1.49 plus 1.49 equals 2.98…..2.98 minus 1.25 equals 1.73.. divide that by two makes each jar about 87 cents. The advice about putting the jars in the cart is pointless and condescending.
Tag says $1.29 not $1.49. A typo I guess. Then the same math.

Why is this post still up? I can’t believe you would use such language on a blog where we are all here just trying to help each other. If you can’t be kind, maybe you shouldn’t post at all. And yes, your post was condescending – the couponer was simply trying to understand.
