Safe Catch® is showing up strong at Kroger right now, and this is one of those deals that checks a lot of boxes at once. These are included in the current Buy 5 or More, Save $1 Each Kroger Mega Event running thru March 10th. Buy five participating items in a single transaction, and the savings come off instantly at checkout. Just clean and extra delicious savings.
Starting March 25th, the Safe Catch® cans will also be included in the Mega Event with $2.00 off. That means even more ways to stock up if you prefer the cans over the pouches. If you’re planning your next Kroger trip, this is one to keep on your radar because the savings will continue into the next mega cycle (starting 3/25).
This is where the Mega Event really shines. The Safe Catch® pouches are normally priced around $3.49 to $3.99, but once you hit the Buy 5 requirement, they drop as low as $1.50 each with card. But load this $1.00/1 Kroger Digital Coupon and you can get one packet for as low as 50¢. The coupon only has 100,000 downloads so don’t wait. LOAD the coupon as quickly as possible so you don’t miss out on this huge savings!
We’re talking Wild Elite Pure Tuna, Wild Ahi Yellowfin Tuna, and Pacific Pink Salmon pouches only. They’re easy to toss into your Mega Event lineup, especially if you’re already grabbing other participating items.

What really sets Safe Catch® apart is the way they handle mercury. Safe Catch® is known for having the lowest mercury of any tuna brand on the market. They don’t test randomly or by batch. They test every single tuna before it’s approved for sale. That process keeps mercury levels well below FDA limits and is a big reason shoppers trust this brand. It’s not just a label claim. It’s how the product is actually produced.

This deal also couldn’t be better timed for the Lenten season. If you observe Fridays without meat during Lent, this is one of those simple solutions that makes life easier. Shelf-stable protein that’s already stocked and ready. Safe Catch® pouches are also a solid high-protein option, which makes them even more useful to keep on hand. Each pouch delivers a good amount of protein (between 19-26g) without needing anything fancy or extra. Hello, protein goals!
Safe Catch® also stands out when it comes to pregnancy-friendly options. The American Pregnancy Association partners with Safe Catch® because every single tuna is tested for mercury, keeping levels far below FDA limits. That makes it one of the few tuna brands recommended for pregnant women who are looking for safe, high-protein seafood options. It’s a detail that matters, especially if tuna is something you keep in regular rotation for quick meals.
If you want easy ideas for using it up, Safe Catch® pouches make things simple. Think tuna salad wraps, quick tuna melts (our favorite on homemade sourdough shown above), or a cold pasta salad you can throw together in minutes. They’re also great mixed with olive oil and lemon over crackers, tossed into a grain bowl, or folded into a simple tuna and white bean salad. Since the pouches are already cooked and ready to go, there’s no prep and no mess so just open, mix, and you’re done.
And yes, we’re going big alongside this deal.
We’re hosting a huge $250 Kroger Gift Card Giveaway, plus a full month’s supply of Safe Catch® Tuna for two lucky winners (one will win a gift card and one will win the month’s supply of tuna). Entry details are straightforward and listed below, so make sure you don’t skip past that part.
