The directions told me to steep with boiling water, but I thought it would be just as easy to use the hot water setting on my coffee maker, so that’s what I did. I felt a little bad about scalding the kitty hiding inside my cup, but somehow I was able to get over it once that warm vanilla flavor hit my tongue.

With the seasons changing I always struggle with fall clothes AND fall hairstyles. I get it mother nature, it’s time for a change not only in the weather but with my look!! I decided to make a fun mocktail that both my daughter and I could enjoy. I’m not a big recipe follower, so I basically just made this one up with fresh ingredients that I knew would be amazing together. And guess what? Success!! I shall call them “pineapple mimosas”. I just filled the glass with Raspberry Lemon Dasani Sparkling until the bubbles reach the rim of the glass (the same way you would with champagne). Then I added 100% pineapple juice the rest of the way. I tossed in fresh mint and garnished with berries and lemon to mirror the flavors of the water. Pow! Mocktails for everyone!!

Who knew Organic could taste so good?? Since my daughter was little, I tried to make sure she ate healthy so I bought more and more organic products. I have been craving Chicken Parmesan for weeks now and just haven’t made it but when I heard about this Bertolli Riserva Balsamic Vinegar and Caramelized Onions I just knew that I had to buy some along with the rest of the ingredients and make some for supper.  I was a little nervous using a sauce with balsamic vinegar but I was fooled by what I thought it would taste like.  You can add caramelized onions to anything and it’s great but the combo together with the deep, rich color make the first bite (and about 30 after it) amazing!

Making the Chicken Parmesan honestly took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish so make sure to grab the ingredients and add to your week night supper plans too.

Start by cutting your boneless, skinless chicken breast into 2-4 pieces.  The piece I picked was extra huge so I cut into 4 pieces.  Either put the chicken in a storage bag or you can put a piece of wax paper over the chicken and pound the heck out it.

Start your pasta water.  Follow package instructions for how long and what consistency you’d like your pasta cooked.  I like mine DONE so I cooked for 8 minutes.

Since making the seasoning takes 2 seconds, heat up some EVOO and a couple tablespoons of butter in a large skillet.  The seasoning consisted of flour, salt and pepper. I wasn’t feeling extra daring so if you’d like a crispier crunch you can swap the flour for some Panko Bread Crumbs.

Cook the chicken for about 4 minutes on each side or until the middle reaches 165 degrees. Once that has happened, take the chicken out of the skillet and add in your Bertolli Riserva Balsamic Vinegar and Caramelized Onions Sauce.

Grab that hand held grater and grate some Parmesan Cheese.  I grated how much I wanted on each piece.  Add the cooked chicken into the Bertolli Riserva Balsamic Vinegar and Caramelized Onions sauce and cover with cheese. Let simmer on low until both the sauce is hot and the cheese is melted.  I covered my skillet with a lid to speed up that process because it was smelling amazing and I wanted that food in my belly now.

After you drain your noodles, ladle out your amount on the plate and top with some of the Bertolli Riserva Balsamic Vinegar and Caramelized Onions sauce.  Add your chicken and if you like things extra saucy and extra good, add some more Bertolli.

That fast..dinner is READY..and you will LOVE it!

Get Ragu Ready for your Game Day Celebration

Want to try using Ragu for your game day snacks? Head into Kroger to stock up on Ragu and the rest of your football needs today!

Sunday…In most houses that means one thing, game day. And with a house full of guests, the last thing I want to do is serve something boring and expected. That’s why I turn to Ragu to help make my appetizers more exciting and delicious. Here’s my favorite recipe for a full day of football.

I recently made a meatball sub dish that EVERYONE loved so I wanted to share it with you!

In order to make this recipe you will need the following items and let me tell you…this is EASY!

  • Canned Biscuits (1-2 cans)
  • Frozen Meatballs
  • Ragu Pasta Sauce
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Start by preheating your own to 375° F.  Grab your baking dish (any size that meats your party needs)  Recipe designed for 9×13.

Open your canned biscuits and cut each individual biscuit down the middle and into 6-8 individual pieces.

Place your individual cut pieces of dough into your baking dish.

Open your jar of Ragu Pasta Sauce and pour over the biscuit pieces. I like things a little saucy so I added about 3/4 of my jar.  Stir the sauce and biscuits together to make sure they are all covered.

Open your bag of frozen meatballs and place over the sauce.  My bag contained 24 frozen meatballs and I added 20 (I must have needed to save the remaining 4 for something else).

Top the dish with 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese and place in the 375° F oven for 35-40 min.

Once the dish is done, let it rest for a couple of minutes or dig in because you can’t wait to try it!
